Auto|Mobility Investment Pulse Check – Issue #55

Apr 23 – Jun 12, 2022

This issue highlights more capital being deployed to the used car industry as startups have entered the market with easier-to-use platforms. And with the ongoing supply chain disruptions, the premium on used cars has increased.

Among the digital used car platforms that secured funding is Indonesia-based Moladin and Greek startup Spotawheel. Car-as-a-service startup FlexCar and subscription platform Finn have also raised additional capital.

Companies providing electric vehicle charging solutions have attracted more investment. This includes different funding rounds of startups such as WiTricity, SparkCharge, Power Dot, and FreeWire Technologies.

Luxury and high-performance electric carmaker Rimac, which controls Bugatti, received over $500M new investment from Porsche and others.
