In these two clips from my recent appearance on CGTN America’s The Heat, I discuss how China built an end-to-end electric-mobility ecosystem spanning batteries, power electronics, charging infrastructure and vehicle manufacturing. This integrated foundation has helped make EVs more affordable and convenient to own—an increasingly powerful value proposition as energy costs rise. It has also enabled China to manufacture at extraordinary scale, become the world’s leading exporter of new-energy vehicles and send more than seven million NEVs to global markets. ⚡🚘🌍
The clips also highlight why China’s advantage extends beyond cost and manufacturing.
