This week’s featured investment is Alphabet’s Waymo raising $2.25 Billion in a fundraising round led by Silver Lake, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Mubadala Investment Company.  In other developments, FiveAI and Hailo also closed their B rounds – signaling that while time to commercialization is still a challenge, investors are still positive on the future of self-driving vehicles.
