21 Jun Anovion Selected for U.S. Navy’s LIB Project
Anovion, a leading U.S.-based advanced materials provider, has been announced as a subcontractor for Lithion Battery Inc.’s recently awarded $8.0 million firm fixed-price contract with the Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, D.C. The contract focuses on research and development activities aimed at enhancing shipboard electric power and energy systems for current and future naval applications.
Anovion, will collaborate with other industry leaders, including Halocarbon, Orbia Fluor & Energy Materials, Arkema, IntraMicron, and the University of Texas at Arlington, to support this innovative project. Anovion specializes in the supply of premium anode-grade synthetic graphite, a critical material for lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles, energy storage systems, medical devices, and military/defense applications.
