25 Jul Evoke Motorcycles to Start ‘Made in USA’ Factory
On Jul 3, Evoke, a Beijing and Hong Kong-based manufacturer of an electric motorcycle with fast charging capabilities, and Invictus Electric Vehicles declared that they will be investing and developing a “Made in USA” assembly plant to manufacture and sell Evoke’s electric motorcycles across the United States and other countries in the region. The joint venture will focus on assembly and distribution of Evoke’s Urban Series, Urban Classic and Urban S.
“Our new facility in the region with our partner’s cooperation will allow for quick deliveries and expansion in the US. With the JV now in place, both our investors and I see Evoke being able to take a more significant role in the US market and move to a more sustainable EV future.” said Sebastian Chrobok, Evoke Motorcycles’ COO.
By securing the “Made in USA” label, distribution of Evoke’s high-power electric motorcycles in the US, Philippines, Guam and Saipan will continue to expand. The new production facility will help Evoke to keep pace with the growing customer demand as the decline in the cost of Li-on batteries is also leading to a reduction in the production costs of high-performance electric motorcycles.
Automobility Ltd is proud of its portfolio company Evoke Motorcycles achieving another milestone in its development, which will support adding new markets, distributors, and retailers to the startup’s growing distribution network.
